Our preferred lug is the EGO "Double Endo".  This lug is very nice looking and very functional.  The tubes that accept the tuning rods can move independently and allow less than perfect tuning without stripping the lugs. Tube lugs are a rigid system that do not allow for misaligning a tuning rod.  They also require two contact points on the shell.  Ego lugs have minimal shell contact but are strong and durable.   They are available in black and brass as well as chrome finishes.
